About the Role

As a Chief Operations Engineer (COO) at Creem, you'll apply your engineering expertise to build robust, scalable operational systems that blend technical innovation with exceptional business processes. This pivotal role combines operational oversight with technical implementation—you'll architect our internal workflows, implement cohesive automation across our operational touchpoints, and create the technical components that make our financial infrastructure both secure and efficient.

As COO, you'll own the entire operational domain, taking responsibility for shaping systems that address critical business challenges. Your detective-like curiosity will drive you to investigate inefficiencies, identify potential risks, and implement preventative measures. Your decision-making will be informed by direct stakeholder conversations and system testing.

In this foundational position, you'll have extraordinary latitude to innovate, leveraging AI automation to amplify your impact. We envision you building and orchestrating a suite of AI agents that extend your capabilities within operations—from onboarding workflows to reviews, transaction monitoring, and payouts.

While you'll handle traditional operational responsibilities like vendor management and accounting coordination, your engineering mindset will transform these areas through creative automation. You'll act as our operational Sherlock Holmes, investigating anomalies, catching bad actors, and translating complex challenges into elegant solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical Prowess: You have full stack experience with modern technologies like React, JavaScript/TypeScript, NextJS and NestJS.
